Usually, I'm more enamored with the costume for Leighton Meester/Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl -- but this is the first ensemble for Blake Lively/Serena van der Woodsen that has caught my eye. Usually the attempts at effortlessly chic à la Kate Moss don't look so effortless.The gentle curvature of the white jacket is not quite tuxedo, not quite mandarin collar -- contrasting sculpturally with the simple skinny jeans and the pointy heels of the ankle boots.
