Little Bow Prep mentioned Lia Lintern -- an outerwear label by Julia Lintern, a structural aerospace engineer-turned-designer.I'm obsessed with the dove blue Anna K (is this a reference to my favorite novel, Anna Karenina?) coat, made of cashmere wool with silk lining. Actually, all of the Lia Lintern coats are made of cashmere wool. I could totally see Anna Karenina walking in the streets of Saint Petersburg in this gorgeously structured coat. Best of all, each coat is custom-fit with no extra charge.
You see, my biggest problem with buying coats is that most of them almost touch my ankles.
