I know that a large bulk of college decisions are coming out within a week, but I'm more excited about going to Disneyland next week than checking my decisions. Ironically, getting into college has been something I've been looking forward to for a long time, but I would rather stop time and frolic around in my Minnie Mouse ears for now.
But you know, I've learned a lot about the college application process in the past twelve months. I've also learned a lot about myself. I also learned to take the college admissions process with a grain of salt, as none of us can possibly fit everything we want to say and be within a few sheets of paper.
I really want to help my younger readers with the college application process. I mean, I'm obviously not a college counselor but the past year has been a crazy year of discovery for me and that's what the college application process should be.
So, please leave me your suggestions as I begin to compile my guide to college applications! 'Cause I'll be honest with you -- this process is as much about finding yourself as it is about finding your perfect school.
